Never Give Up or Give In

Good early Saturday morning to all you! I trust that you weeks have gone great and blessed. Today's devotion comes from a historical moment in American history. December 7, 1941 was given the title "a date which will live in infamy" by then President Franklin Roosevelt. The very attack sent shock waves throughout the American people that we, the untouchable nation, could be attacked in such a fashion. On December the 8Th, our leader stood before the shocked country and told them that the American people will win through to absolute victory. This speech provoked a victory 4 years later for a country that came together for this triumph. FDR challenged his staff around him to never give up or give in to the circumstances around them. When are we as the body of Christ going to gain this attitude? It seems that every time the devil comes knocking we go into a hole and hide or just give up on God. I will be the first to admit that this was very trying for me and I felt like giving up on what God had blessed me with. But I choose to take a stand and to not give up or give in to my circumstance. In your life, take a stand against the devil and fight the good fight. You set the tone and you dominate. Never Give Up and Never Give In!

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
