Hands and Feet

Hey everyone! Hope your weekend has gotten off to a great start. I spent some time in New Orleans this week and the Lord laid this week's devotion on my heart. Of all the good fun that New Orleans carries, it is a city filled with hurting people. There were several people that I passed on the street and I could just see the pain in their eyes from the lifestyle they had placed themselves in. I just wanted to reach out to that woman and tell her, everything is gonna be alright. I wanted to tell her to just give it all to God. But there is a mindset that has come that we are to stray from those people. This is the total opposite of what Jesus did. Jesus spent a majority of his time around the sinners. He did that because he had a true compassion for them. We really are to be God's hands and feet. To walk where he walked. To go where he went. We don't take on their lifestyle, but we can never neglect the hurting of the lost. Make an effort today to reach out to those around you. You can make a difference in their life!

Mark 16:15
And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.
