But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
What does it mean to seek the kingdom of God? I mean, I know we can imagine about what the kingdom of God looks like, but what is it to seek His kingdom. I have had a mentor of mine tell me numerous times to pursue righteousness and the steps of God will fall into place. In a world that swirls around so much confusion, its so easy to lose sight of the goal of your life. The goal of a believer is to pursue righteousness and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. In my conversation today with my mentor, he said that so often we focus on how we are going to get to where we are going instead of focusing on living for God right now. In my life, I know the calling God has placed upon me to reach youth and show them the reality of Jesus Christ. But right here right now, I need to pursue what is before me. Those things being my relationship with God, schoolwork, family, and my relationship with Crystal. My mindset is to pursue God and then step into what He has for me. No worries. No doubts. Just straight confidence and faith that He is gonna see me through.
